A sharp thread,
A poised head, That's what I hear A strong defense holds us as I appear A deep spiritual mind Keeps me calm and devine Limitless to the emotional strength of mine. I've been hit, armor has been pierced The sow, so tight, finally unstitched. Disoriented, walking through the forest Vision is blurred, which way is which The stealth in me has been matched I've been blindsided by the attack Unaware of the attackers direction But I'm not sure if this was an ambush for I am unharmed But my movement slowed. I'm not sure of this It seems so suspect But I'm coming back to my senses With my chest feeling new The vision gets clearer Vivid becomes of the view I'm careful observing as my stealth gets restored To scan for another ambush in case it goes different from before Walking carefully into the path Carefully to my habitat not noticing that I'm leaving a trail No wounds or holes, but spilling the fluids I'm tongue tied, nothing spoken I'm unsure how, but it is clear that I'm open. © 2017 Andre Waters IIAuthor's Note
