A Weathered StormA Poem by Andre Waters IIWhen I actually thought, taking a run through a storm, lightning never came...but it cleared my head.
Took me a good minute to get my mind together.
lost in a forest in the mist of bad weather. I'm more welcomed to the cold, and the rain doesn't bother me. Perhaps I found where I thought I'd be, where I outta be, I'm trapped inside my mind, like it follows me. Oh how it feels, the anxiety. I start to think I rather have a bolt of lightning stiking me Cause if I'm out cold, this anxiety will tumble down the road, maybe wake up and forget it all happened. Damn, I never thought I'd see how anxiety makes me think I'd be happy. © 2016 Andre Waters IIFeatured Review
