The Room Without a Clock

The Room Without a Clock

A Poem by Andy Ruffett
"

What do we do when we end up in the room without a clock?

"

There is a room without a clock

where there is no sudden ticking,

just eyes glancing up towards a wall

scanning for something that is not there

And as the sun rises and sets outside,

we wonder what was the point of time

Have we lost the ability to function

when all time is gone?

Can we move on

when all time is gone?

Are we helpless

when all time is gone?

We should keep on praying,

hoping,

and wishing

For the day when we arrive

into the room without time,

we’ll remember that day

as the day of no consistency,

no balance,

no order

Just a room without a clock

You can still find those sun dials. I love my watch though.
