As I Strolled Down the Road One Day

Kelowna is such a beautiful place, especially in the fall.

As I strolled down the road one day,

there was much sky that I did see

The sun was behind the clouds

and revealed a peachy scene

The grass smiled up at me

as I passed the lake of green

To then glance at the mountains

that protruded from the ground

It was a quiet day,

a day of peace

All that could be heard

was nature breathe

 

Though, the cold was chilly

upon my naked face,

I kept on going

to absorb the warmth of the day
