Body of Regrets

Body of Regrets

A Poem by AndBeForgotten

I’m the space in between your eyes,

If you cross intently you’ll feel the blinding  sensation

The sudden realization of existence

I only hope you learn to breathe

I’m hanging on your ribcage

Waiting to be sucked away

The days tick by

As I count the lies that fall past me

Some try to take my hand

Or grab my feet in last attempt

They swirl around in a faded image of gray

And fall into a glowing pink room

Where the smell is unbearable

And the walls keep sinking in,

A digestion of sin

I don’t want to know what happens next

As you choke down more regrets

I’d hope they get suck, in your windpipe or

Lungs

Where I’ll ignore them all

Apparently math lab was a great place to
rid yourself of regrets. It happened !
You even eliminated some of mine in the
process.
An exquisite poem, right from the heart (mind).

Can hardly wait to read some of your more
thoughtful poems.

Excellent writing .
