Sidereal heart

Sidereal heart

A Poem by AndBeForgotten
"

So many hidden meanings in this one. But, I'll give you one for free. "The silly alloy sheep we make"- it means.. the world is made of followers with no minds of their own. They are nothing more then sheep.

"

Bright lightly falling

Death to the night and its calling

Me out

Ships sail out on their blackened glass shame

Holding back

The indestructible frame

Celestial skies and their cold white feet

Shatter so slightly when held with glass teeth

Shoreward waters glisten in solstice

Celestial derangement

Lucky indulgences

Floodwaters sink in circular things

Bring forth them lightly

Sparkle of wings

Elliptical burning breath

Threaded with doubt

Coax able death

Swiftly draining coordination

Insolent hues of carnal fixation

Audaciously coy

The silly alloy sheep

We make

I'm impressed...I like the way you word this poem, its not what I would normally see, but your clever way of wording is what intrigues me. How you describe the clouds and scene down to the clothes she is wearing...to the flitter of butterflies that escape into the night. There are two phrases I really like BUT i LIKE...Swiftly draining coordination Insolent hues of carnal fixation Audaciously coy The silly alloy sheep
We make...

But double my joy when I read audaciously coy and silly alloy sheep, I guess I'll learn more about you as time goes on...wonderful write

The depth to this poem either escapes me or just is too personal for you.
But that fact aside, this is a really good poem.
The way you rhyme it all, it's so well done.
Great work.

Yours truly,
