Skin bloody and betrayed,

Strands of hair, clots to despair

Bind me down to the center of it all.

Dirty fingerprints, clothing  frayed

Revelations to be repaid.

 

Legs up in knots, wrung out of all their fame,

Smoothness once was,

Now is unreality.

Speaking is unreality.

Arched back, fingers aching...

Spots on the ceiling losing their interest.

 

Insanity lends itself.

Tasteful in pretty wrapping.

Dry cracked lungs, choked them with distaste.

Dancing with uncertainty.

Have you seen such lovelier haze?
