Light

Light

A Poem by AndBeForgotten

They say we'll all go by our own grace

Forgive my indiscretion , but they can't all burn away.

I don't know where to run anymore,

since it all broke down.

Chasing dreams that make me feel so small now.

Burn the cigarettes,

little holes under the skin of feeling .

And it know I've never been the kind,

to let it bleed so deep

Nobody's so far that they cant see behind the mask.

She can scream on dreams of misery,

but leave me out all night.

I tried to leave it alone, but this sky is meant to keep me alive

Massing dreams/ passing of the feelings left unsaid

I tried to catch them….

They all blew through the streets so bloody fast

In turn you'll see

those the lyrics burn to the ground.

In hopes I'll reach thought this wall of glass

Dry the sins of my past;

this land with which I dream

Baby, there's no light at the end.
