Frail Thoughts

Frail Thoughts

A Poem by AndBeForgotten

Listless cries, steady and good-bye,
departing is such sweet sorrow.
Records on repeat,
heartfelt pulsing of the broken soul.
sideways glances,
pretty and fleeting
never more than what you give them.

teleport me to you
this everyday is hell without you.
You haunt me as i go,
driving without a face

a life outside my own.
tonight I'll leave you by my side,
and turn and run into the sky.

Sunlight reveals the mysteries of day,
shine on my face, make this all okay.
To many tears have fallen on this face,
(life without you is not breathing)
Leaning with our hands tied in knots,
I'm broken but that's just life.
