Viola of The Sea

Viola of The Sea

A Poem by AndBeForgotten

You arise in the storm, my love, as a maiden of the sea.
Your lips like dew on blades,
grass of greener shades cascades,
emitting light from every pore,
shining like the stars and bursting from your core.

Darling you sensationalize,
iridescent skin, unguarded eyes.
Open your soul and let it stream out,
leaking from your heart and pouring from your mouth.

Almost like a lucid dream,
you drift into my sleeping.
Promising protection and love but keeping
a hand across your eyes,
hoping I won't notice this disguise.
But I know of you my love,
Oh' Viola of The Sea.
