The Dreamer's SleepA Poem by AndBeForgottenIn the air of twilight the dreamer's sleep, a whisper in the dying light of day. In the stillness discord, static charge of electronic reliance cries out to the cold universe.
The other side of the pillow, beneath the surface, young lovers cling in tangled torment a poly silk display filamentous record of our movements, crushed under the weight of heavy thought-filled dreamers, down and down into a lumpy plane of discomfort.
The Voltaic pile hums in the most inopportune times, In the early hour, the echo of the poets wonder inks itself on silky pages, in dreamer's sleep, in dreamer's sleep. My mind tends to wonder. © 2012 AndBeForgottenReviews
