"Breathe..."

"Breathe..."

A Poem by Chris
"

"

"Breathe..."

...and I wanted to find you,
if but for a minute,
a second... a heartbeat
a moment's blink...

an eternity's gaze.

I guess that says it all
doesn't it?
The wanting - to find
another
for even an instant.

We can't always have...
but god we CAN hope,
and just maybe -

maybe find
the need to remember how to breathe
- in our lives.

Wanting to find is the heart calling to be touched .. and what a beautiful heart. Such tender words need come alive, to breathe and understand.

I adore this. Yes, be free to be consumed with the breathe of Amore! We were not here to be alone, but to "as they say" Love One Another. Easy! ~ Jude :-)

A breath takes only a moment, and so can a meaningful connection with another.

Wonderful parallel.

Hope within a lovely soul as yours is never to late.

Good one and I like your particular indentations, and conversational style.

truthfully a little disjoined. Finding someone and breathing. Just seems forced, I know it was intended to be emotional but I felt rather surface. Like you didn't experience this emotion but heard about it. Unless your saying in your poem you waiting holding your breath, either way seem one dimensional.
