"Midwinter's' Lullaby..."A Poem by ChrisMore wanderingI took cold coffee in hand and went to visit "friends". Paused and wondered what each had seen, tasted. Each visit was brief - some were even a revisit - seems some took a break. Some words flowed - they always do flow while I visit, its just I don't always let them - loose. lightning strike twice? - empty streets echo with familiar advice? Do window panes cry each morning's due? Will the emptiness inside ever leave you? So soft are the eyes - so lost and alone, as they gaze through the glass wishing for ...home.
