"Sweet Nothings..."
A Poem by
Chris
Tuesdays and I have "history"
Today's have been "wonderings" and thoughts that go nowhere, mean little, just echoes behind my eyes. "Sweet Nothings..." The hardest part is reaching - to draw you close -closer ... and the fading inside as you drift away. I held you tight - felt your hands, your fingertips... your breath. ...and I let you gobecause its what we do - let go . I touched you without touching you, held you without holding you, and felt you smile from the inside. ...and now its morning and time to dream - again. Chris

sweet nothings, this made me feel like i had some candy...
just like sugar, the rush is high
the longing without it while still in our system - seems to crash
for the next fix
of dreaming again

because its what we do, the pain is exquisite, the joy so sorrow-full sometimes

Sweet somethings hurt the most .. hold tight .. Who says we always let go .. Whispers written or spoken softly bring forever memories .. until .. ..
ME .

Oh, this really speaks volumes, Chris!... "Sweet Nothings"~You whispered it softly, yet... in such an honest way, that it had to be heard... Clearly...Loveit!! :)
