"Philosophy 101 - life from the curb..."

"Philosophy 101 - life from the curb..."

A Poem by Chris

I can FEEL myself just wanting to be a 'smart-a*s' today... and its really HARD to consciously ensure that how I respond to what I see is not like that.

"Philosophy 101 - life from the curb..."

I guess we need reminding
of our silliness,
foibles, frailities,
insensitivities,
less-than-really-thought-out-or-smart
  actions and re-actions,
planned and unplanned stupidities...

often.

"But DAMN!" people...
sigh.

I guess I need to think through what it is I say and do. Nah life is more boring that way, lets keep things light and jovial!

I meet these kind of people ... most often when I look into the mirror. Sigh ...

I guess the security guards at work are at the bottom of the proverbial food chain . . . but then, they tend to make fun of me. I try to keep things in perspective.
