"Philosophy 101 - life from the curb..."

"Philosophy 101 - life from the curb..."

A Poem by Chris

I can FEEL myself just wanting to be a 'smart-a*s' today... and its really HARD to consciously ensure that how I respond to what I see is not like that.

"Philosophy 101 - life from the curb..."

I guess we need reminding
of our silliness,
foibles, frailities,
insensitivities,
less-than-really-thought-out-or-smart
  actions and re-actions,
planned and unplanned stupidities...

often.

"But DAMN!" people...
sigh.

HA! life 101.... from the curb indeed. Oh the lectures, pop quizzes and blue book tests NOT given in the ivory tower... but as a daily discourse upon the street, alleys and cobble stone paths outside. I'm in the sanctuary of the forest now, earning my pastoral doctorate, the hard way.... fun write Chris.

Rambling hilarity, and the truth is sprinkled throughout.

Being a smart-a*s is always so much fun...tongue-in-cheek...wicked riffs upon the stupidity of humans. Some days...you just have to....

liked the way this panned out. A lot of originality to this poem and a large slice of philosophy. great.

That's life. Sometimes you just have to shake your head and I know quite a few people have shaken their heads at the dumb stuff I've done/

Ha! Life is a giant bowl of vegetable soup! Who knows if you are going to get a turnip or a carrot! Excellent reflections, and seriously, I can SOOO relate to this. :)
