"Are We There Yet..."

"Are We There Yet..."

A Poem by Chris
"

I wandered EmmaJoyGreen's poem - Is best to wait...

"
Chuckling here... I wandered EmmaJoyGreen's poem - Is best to wait...
It "spoke" to me - right there - in ways I can't explain, just show.

This came about
and is what ...appeared...
behind my eyes...

"Are We There Yet..."

Behind my eyes are evolving moments
becoming dreams and lives,
depictions of unicorns and magyks,
of others faerie, fancies, and 'mares,
and even mine own...

Deciding to speak
to give ...life...
substance, heart ...caring...
value... existence...
to thought -
whether or not anyone may value or accept
perceptions from such as I...
That is what we as poets ...do...
share our heart, heat, hope, touch -
of we in you.

"what we as poets ...do...
share our heart, heat, hope, touch"

We share and tell others what is in our souls, such as personal and unique. And we are surprised that readers feel the same but find that only in words written by others.

I appreciate that comment... thanks for pausing with me.
Hi Chris, Your poetry feeds my soul! I love it, especially this poem. As a poet I hope to inspire and share my heart with others! Loved that line :)

It always takes time. Sometimes it's no more than a full circle - in the end.
I preach fantasyland to The Mafia, as some people put it. They don't get it. Retail Sausage Head's are something else, Chris.

Moderate fantasyland...

Some people just don't see this, Chris. I experience fantasyland all the time, but I'm so used to it that I live it. I get the best of reality and fantasyland in my own way

What, some people expect me to alter my imagination to Tea Party specifications?

This is still my point, and this takes care of everything, Chris. The bitchy hens need to be turned back into teacups. The Tea Party has to quit whining!

Chuckling here, good luck with that...
your poetry touches something in me when I read it, Chris.
And emma joy green has inspired me to be more descriptive in my own writes.

and I still don't feel there yet...but am on the road...we keep trying to write that one poem that might make our name...maybe some kind of legacy worth remembering...but it is a long, arduous travel.

Her words do speak to us Chris, despite her insistence she is not a poet, which I'll let her away with only if she calls herself a wordologist in its place, but speak to us they do.
And what a wonderful heart share this is. Superbly captured.
