“Just Another RANDOM Note…”

I don’t do ten word contests… but this one was just right …THERE…

W A R N I N G
B A T
H E L P L E S S
R A N D O M
D E C O R A T I O N S
R E M E M B E R
F O R W A R D

D I S T U R B I N G
J I N G L E
T H R E E

“Just Another RANDOM Note…”

As he waited his turn, he looked over the Vet’s bulletin board.  His eyes paused…

***A DISTURBING WARNING:***

REMEMBER that cute Public Service Video of the THREE HELPLESS kittens as they played “BAT the DECORATIONS” FORWARD and back, across their cage at the pound - all to the tune of JINGLE bells?   Well, they weren’t adopted.  Tomorrow is euthanasia day.

He sighed, it was a week old.

Thank you for heavily & cleverly snarking the ten-word craze that seems to have struck upon yet another one of its cyclical pandemics around here. I suggest people peruse the dictionary or thesaurus or google, if they can't think of jack s**t to write about. Why let someone else choose your words? Oh well, everyone sees this as fun & I'm the spoil sport as usual! Love your originality (((HUGS))) Fondly, Margie

Oooooooh, that's even darker than I like my coffee. Loved it! The only thing I don't like is that now, if I force a reader to think about dead kittens, it will feel like a rip-off.

This made me tear up, you used all the words in a short bulletin, that's crazy amazing and hit so hard too! dang, makes me wanna be the new cat lady on the block. I just rehomed a homeless pet not to long ago, it took forever to find a good home. I have two dogs myself, it was not easy, kudos to those who have have worked at the shelter, I couldn't do it, I really couldn't my house would smell like Noah's Ark.

Though I dont own one at present, I'm very fond of cats. This story made me very sad. This world is so cold sometimes. The best 10 word story ever!

Well if that didn't just hit the nail on the head, as they say!!
As someone who worked at an animal shelter for three years (and had nightmares all the time) this hit home. What a genius write! Straight to the point; great use of all 10 Given Words and sadly true.
This is a daily occurrence, unfortunately. This is a message needing to be 'out there'.
Thank you for entering the 10 Words I Give contest! Well done.
