I've gotten notes from a few - some are just taking a break -
others got tired of some 'tudes… and a few really died - most have entered the
universe of memory.
So true Chris, we may seek and try and even chase in desperation, but in a way we are observers with a lot less control over our paths than we think we have. Letting go is the key, and not being afraid to confront fears, for beauty may be on the other side.
Loved where you took me with this,
Laura
I think the most valuable thing in life is relationships. It's not about money or material things. You can't take any of that with you. It's the relationships, the love, the memories and shared experiences that make life worth living. All else is "dust in the wind."

In the end we are only another's memory... and the 1000 yard stare.
I have always found it fascinating how those around us live completely different lives. We will never know what one another is thinking or doing as time is passing by. Make the most of it, friend. I will pay a little closer attention to those around me after this read.
'Some find hope - some …heart. - Some find their fears, - others a sunrise.. ''
Your thinking is more than.. ; you stop, look, take time to learn and wonder - always in the finest language.
Here of course, is truth. Each of us trying.. stress 'trying' to step or stride through life in a supposed self-selectd route. Some stride on, taking chances; some look around, trip over a stone, pause, think.. and all the while others are doing one or other or - whatever paints their boat. No wonder we vary in the hows and why fors; making space for the emotions Man suffers. By the time we're ready to sign off, we're still looking around, wondering if.. as people are of you, me. Trying to remember how differently things might have been. Your writing has always made me stop to think.
thought-provoking. we're all on a path coming into it in different ways, different places. we encounter things along the way all eventually coming to an end. what is important is not the path but how we lived it, how we met it and what we gathered from it ... :)
reminds me of:
“A single footstep will not make a path on the earth, so a single thought will not make a pathway in the mind. To make a deep physical path, we walk again and again. To make a deep mental path, we must think over and over the kind of thoughts we wish to dominate our lives.” - Thoreau
