So beware you innocent, bared foot.

house-found boot or shoes,

the oft strolling leg -

the ravaged-to-be socked foot.

All are but a targeted …beastie.

 

The "vultures" gather up on high

staring

stalking

awaiting that …moment… of

LEAPING

pouncing

comes the THUMP of fullbody VICTORY!

 

And thereafter the acceptance of due!

The stately preening of claw-by-fang

and tongue tipped vibrato proudly plying -

filling the ears of hapless, life-lorn-torn-

pliant victims of their new-found-civilityless …existence.

"…life-is-gooood…" stares shared back-and-forth

as tails punctuate the hunters return to GLORY!

The acceptance of due... Terry Pratchett said cats were once worshipped as gods and have not got over it yet. So what is the answer... Snoopy a cat?.... Answer not in this universe. He is too mentsh. Not a member of the mouse police.
All I know is that you have never felt pain like the pain of several kittens all trying to get up inside the same trouser leg.
