"It Is Spring..."

"It Is Spring..."

A Poem by Chris

we never know the other side of tomorrow til we look in our eyes...

"It Is Spring..."

I miss the moments of our sun,

breaths so softly held and shared -

even the tears hurt more - ya know?

and a smile ...held me so close.

I see your footsteps through my world -

noseprints on the glass.

Hear your voice behind my eyes

and know it's your hand touching me.

I LIVE the music in the air

the silliness of tiptoes as I turn a corner -

just to see      ...the silence of the walls

and feel the breath softly leave.

It is finally Spring

and I look and I look

and ...I LOOK and almost see

your eyes gazing back from within.

...and I breathe...

again.

It was nice of you to pause with me Ratty...come by any time.
I miss, I see, I LIVE, I LOOK...and I breathe...again. Everything else in between is icing in the Twinkies.

Spring.. a resurrection of life ...
A remembrance of Joy, in being
Green, that new smell, and taste
A fancy, let loose ... to grow
Spring, always within..waiting..
To bloom..

Well done Chris.............. ♥

No words. You have done it again, blowing me away with your amazing poetry. This is exactly what I imagine when picturing a young loving couple lying on the grass on a fine spring day. Maybe the boy in this poem is remembering the times he used to share with his lover?

Dear Spring. She is needed.
"It is finally Spring
and I look and I look
and ...I LOOK and almost see
your eyes gazing back from within."
I'm glad Spring is here. Everything seem more alive and beautiful. Thank you my friend for sharing the excellent poetry.
