"Catching A Breath..."

I visited Ana B. 's page and read a few... well worth your time.

I visited Ana B. 's page and found the inspiration for writing this after reading a few of her poems.  It really IS worth your time to visit her page and hear her thoughts.

I came to see another day -

There is a time I like to pause and just sit and BE... stare out into the world. Taste life as it comes.
Sigh... you've kept me here ...thinking and feeling. 

"Catching A Breath..."

Coffee

sunrise ...little bits of

thyme and rosemary scents

accents whispering across the breeze

teasing smiles from dancing eyes

counting fingertips as they scrawl

the moment paused...

til the chuckle escapes and

the smile echoes through - another's eve.

Tis Autumn’s touch

Chill and deep

With silences held close

As footsteps pass.

…The coffee’d mist

Floats and expands as colors swirl

Within memories raised

And dreams so curled

Tight within every breath’s begin.

Is a sun day - silly clouds

Spreading thin

Drawing me back, and further

Again…

I almost …almost wish.

introspection over a cup of coffee....the swirls, the ripples of life that we ponder...that great pause just before the day actually starts...
a good way to begin...

once we get into the day...the coffee is cold...
i like the last line --lots to "almost, almost wish for"---

This was so cool. I liked this a lot. I love how it wanders here and there but never leaves the place it is at. I really enjoyed this today.
