"Good Morning Ed..."

Visit Ed Hart's Fate - it's worth your time.

Moments of inspiration… This morning at Writer’s Café, I visited Ed Hart’s “Fate”.    He is one of the “Greats” here and I count him as a friend.  And his thoughts held me …there - reflecting on my own images.  His - what wasn’ts - touched deep.  The thoughts echoed and coalesced into

 

“Good Morning Ed…”

 

We can miss the who’s

we haven't got

And even the whats

- it's allowed...

it's what clouded over and chilly

Fall/Winter days do -

remind you

- of some choices

and of some that were no choice at all -

of could-haves and never-wills

and all the "shades" that lived 'tween.

 

“Good mornin' Ed,

Coffee’s hot

- ya know where the mugs are…”
