"Life Isn't Fair..."

"Life Isn't Fair..."

A Poem by Chris
"

Another Friday thought.

"

When I leave noseprints... windex and the delete key are pretty quiet …sometimes.

"Our world is only as full as our tomorrow allows. Perceptions of emptiness define hopes' lack. Pain is our way of dealing with ...life."

“Life Isn’t Fair…”

Life isn't fair...

but so many - personalize it,

tie what happens to rhyme and reason

when there is ...none - other than

perhaps a timing

- good or bad

followed

accepted

held, breathed

- tasted -

sometimes way too quick

others - near unendurably marked with

existence.

Life is the path we travel -

the moments we share,

the cheeks we touch,

hands held within ours.

Life is the eyes -

mine,

yours -

that pause when they meet

that moment of understanding

where you know

just how good

that next breath is.

Life ...the tear

that falls in the dawn

as you smile

...because you can.

Yes at times it can feel that life is not fair, some bad things are the consequences of our choices, others due to bad luck or whatever it is, such as where you are born, can't really choose that one. Eventually we must choose to either be happy or spend our lives moaning about it.

Life as we live it is seldom as we want it... it was nice you paused and spoke. Thank you.
A breath of fresh air sort of poem... Feels like a morning sort of reflection.

What is "fair" though? One persons opinion varies from another. all we can do is the best we can. Good poem

Life as we live it... Hi again.
Had a hot cuppa in my hand so I figured I'd mosey on over to your page and catch some down to earth wisdom, and yep, it's all in there....

You do have a way of leaving a thoughtful smile in your wake...
Life happens to us all - some days fair, some days not so - but always the joy lingers... Enjoyed this, Chris. :)

This poem was great. Exceptional writing. Life is many things and it is ours to make the best of. I enjoyed reading this today.

That first line catches and holds all the way through to that perfect last verse.

Thanks Ken... how are you doing?
This is why I love coming to your pages mr. Chris, this is something to ponder about or just think about. A wisdom that needed to be a reminder. Before I always think that life isn't always fair to me, though I know deep inside I felt that it is not. It is just me though. I see it clearly as the way before I see it, we become blinded when we take too much efforts and thinking on the faults of our stars, not the beauty of it. Thank you for sharing us this great reminders.

Chris. This is stunning. It stole my breath with its truthful words. It was bittersweet, and reminded me that life is just not all bad or all good. Thanks for this lovely read dear Friend. :)
