Sometimes it seems

We aren't "allowed" -

to care anymore

- doesn't it?  But we do…

we always …do.

"Midnight Every Morning…"

Takin' back don't work,

no way in hell.

How do you take back -

looks,

shares,

just feeling  …right…

thoughts - those mind dreams

that just …happen all on their own.

My …no, our     now,

favorite song, flavor, movie,

place, time of day

scent

the FEEL of e v e r y t h i n g -

changed…

it’s all …changed.

How do you forget

knowing where you want to be

how you want to feel

wanting tomorrow …finally.

Dealing - yeah, with

- missing

- the hurting

- the anger

…the silence - when it’s so loud your heart

doesn't beat - just thuds

behind your eyes

over and over and over again

and the pressure builds and builds

til the hurt is alive and so filling

you're choking… and crying

…crying…

inside

where you don't let  - ANYONE -

see      or in.

Yeah, "I guess I'm still

…missing you."…          ***

is one real

…real

part… of being me.

Chris

this leaves me with a bittersweet smile, dealing with the loud, thudding silence . Funny how we can hear our human noise just sitting there - even when everything goes dark.
I'll deffinetly reread this.

You left a thought-full nose print on the Window's glass. Come by anytime
This Poem was wonderful. The Pain Of Missing The One You Love is Beyond Words...I trult can Relate to the Whole Poem....I Loved this very much....We Can always Hope that Our Love Finds their Way back to Us.....That's what I am doing, I Remain in The Truest of Faith and Devotion.

I think that we must differentiate between the universal mood of love that we feel deep inside that has nothing to do with anyone from outside of ourselves, and the common instinctual addiction that social animals have for each other upon become familiar with each other. I feel the same way about my pets as I do people. When someone dies are goes away, it’s hard for me, but I get over it. Social addiction is a species survival trait because we don’t survive outside of being in groups, and those who did otherwise never passed their genes on to the next generation. Your poem seems to concern itself with grief.

now that is another great line for a poem !!
You have such an unique way of expressing thoughts on today's society and how it can effect or alter our feelings and emotions.

I'm glad you paused... thank you
I find only love in an every section of the poem because ...

- missing
- the hurting
- the anger
…the silence

All these happen in love and you`ve kindly expressed the few things/many things about love. It`s all ...you know what? About 'Drama' what occurs in love. Love always put people in such a world of 'Maze.'

Lovely poem!

I appreciate your pause and your thoughts
it comes within the gaps
the tiny gaps
of my thoughts
feelings
emotions
within the gaps
you are no longer there
you had never been there
with me in the gaps

somehow I feel
that after
finally letting you go
and suffering no longer

when once again
i feel the sweet air kiss my face

I shall meet you again
this time
within the gaps

and our love will finally understand the eternal truths
