"Where Is My ...Window?"

"Where Is My ...Window?"

A Poem by Chris
"

Think about it...

"
"Where Is My ...Window?"
Things just aren't the same.
Feeling "off" -
the silence that really isn't any different
it's just NOW it feels ...so heavy
so empty...
the world is ticking away somehow
and I want to be ...somewhere
...somewhere I choose
- somewhere I want
- some time I want.
The dark isn't friendly now
it feels tight and close
uncertain
I need ...no, I want
being held
It was supposed to be
but
life happened
and now ...what?

A life starts from the one end and ended on an other ...what we all can do's walking with the time hand in hand before the life reaches the end. All ours needs, the wills, the possessions everything's hidden behind the fogs of a life and coming outta the dark night spreading some lights across the world showing us a new path of our life ...we gotta find a lit which comes with the morn everyday and live with the time because it's really hard to live even with the speck of a time. Lovely concept. I adore this beautiful poem.

Thanks for your thoughts Nathan, glad you paused
Sadly beautiful - as ever always, with a depth of feeling that reaches There. Night's a strange time and place, tis where aloneness is what it is to each of us: soft, warm, sharp, warlike.. tis cruelly truthful. But when dawn rises, daydreams can be of our own making.. perhaps.

'the world is ticking away somehow ~ and I want to be ...somewhere ~ ...somewhere I choose ~ somewhere I want ~ some time I want.'

Always excellent, Chris. I'm always amazed with your poetry. Life is full of choices...we just have to pick our own. Best wishes!

I read, feeling the words as I said them out
loud.. Trapped for now..but life has a way of
changing course doesn't it ?

You can never walk in the same river twice.

Sometimes life is like that river. The places might not have changed, but you might have, where you are in life might have. (And, unfortunately, it's not always for the better).

Excellent wright. You put to words something that is often very difficult to describe.

Keep up the great work. :)

Such a thought-full comment... especially about the river analogy...

How is it your poems always inspire me to write and swim within the deep crevasses of life ... X

I like the walk through mind processes and always enjoy perceptions of how decisions may be made. It starts off with an unsettled feeling of restlessness or dysthymia, followed by uncertainty about what happens next. An interesting poem Chris :) Penny
