After The Rain - a poem by Triin

http://www.writerscafe.org/writing/estoniancloud/1332444/

For: Triin

A second language makes an intent harder to realize.  Melancholy and poignancy are harder to develop because the smoothness of required transitions tend to be lacking.  You touched me with your thoughts.

“After The Rain…”

I read your words aloud...

then read them again

and yet again

And "After The Rain"

each pause held a note...

"After The Rain"

each breath left a taste...

"After The Rain"

my eyes shimmered with

yesterdays' echoes

...and I remembered how to smile

again.

Chris

Inhaling life...refreshes the eyes and senses and much more, leads us to see we are still here, somehow xx

I read triin's poem then this one. It's raining here today. When it stops I'll go outside and see what happens

Yes, do that...catch that breath of ...life.
I read Triin's poem first and then read this one and wow, you both have such amazing description and make your poems come to life.

I was quite literally JUST looking at your page... like minds...
Such poetry as the one of Triin's you highlighted, and this one of yours (in truth all of yours) do ignite thoughts in the reader... side-tracks and epic journeys.

Thank you
