you are so good...all kinds of lines to make me pause...it is like soulmates who just can't be together...
they are far apart but never stop feeling each other or feeling for each other...
but circumstances make them only think of "what ifs"--and we can only feel what is there right now...no matter what it is...feel it and remember that feeling...it might be all we have.
here I sit, a pause, pondering... thoughtful
what a thought provoking piece,
such love,
such loneliness..
It..
well, It sort of made me sad, in a good way though...
it was lovely, really, beautiful even..
how often we do count the moments, the memories
if only to hold onto them a little longer..

ah, how true, what thought you are provoking, yes, I shall visit again!
We pause to reflect and contemplate before we embrace the next. And, perhaps, it is through this that self-understanding and discovery occurs so that we are ready for whatever Life has in store for us.
You have outdone yourself here sir. I love the spelling out of "thoughtful pause". Your voice is so strong and this poem is so fun (i'm always here). what a delight to read!
I think I am in love with the words here. Delicate, thoughtful and with a quiet longing, I sighed after each stanza. It took me to a place of missing someone I once loved and felt sadness in the final lines. We change. Life changes us. Not always for the better. The scars have seams that can easily be unpicked and bleed once more for times lost. Look what this did to me !!! I loved it. Superb writing. Justine
Your style is uniquely you - love reading, and feeling the pauses. The time taken to mold the moment held in each line states the obvious in words and gently pushes the undercurrent of feeling life throughout the poem. Excellent, my friend!
"Life is a terminal disease." All the doctors have basically told me so.
"Life is an adventure... Pain, well you deal. Thanks for being here. 06/21/2020
