I like the exasperation expressed in the first question, which ends in a stondee metric.
I'm still trying to interpret the last line. I will read it a few more times. ;)
...coming upon a smile that reflects feelings shared, not yet spoken, the words mere token of the being overwhelmed...such delight, the lightness of heart....
Is it the colors of the rainbow, the flecks within eyes, the sunshine caressing your skin, the tastes of tomorrows, you only dreamed of before.
This is by far my favorite line. I will keep this close to me. Thank you sir Chris, for having written this masterpiece.
