"Monday In Icee Town..."

"Monday In Icee Town..."

A Poem by Chris
"

A place with a view.

"
Nature has a way of changing the spring, summer, and fall scenery for years to come with one winter's breath...
"Monday In Icee Town..."

Nature has its way
of changing the scenery
with one winter's breath.

Natural tinsel.
Friends visiting friends, sharing...
a coffee moment.

Chris

(No one here was injured during the production of this "moment" - though the Spring, Summer, and Fall future views have taken on a new personna.  And power DID come back for me the next morning - some still are without with a best guestimate of after Christmas for their restoration.)

OMG Chris,
Looks like Jack Frost had a nervous psychotic fit at your place ! Absolute natural insanity!
I would of never believed that ice could build up that thick on a branch without the photo.
Even the photo is hard to comprehend.
I am so glad you made it thru the storm. Your Frosty Man there looks a bit weathered. I feel so much empathy for the poor thing. Quick go get a Magic Hat and see if you can save him. Awe poor thing.

You may have been touched by the deep freeze but your heart is always warm and inviting as is your poetry. Would love to share a coffee moment with you Chris.

It'll be better now... you take care.
So the deep freeze found you, too. As your pictures reveal, ice can do terrible damage. A few years ago, we had such an ice storm that, months afterwards, people driving through saw all the mangled trees and thought a tornado had done it.

Wonderful photos here, Chris! Indeed, natural tinsel....so beautiful. I hope you were not without power for too long and that the sun is warming things up for you. Sending South Florida sunshine your way. Merry Christmas. lydi**

Incredible photos Chris... sending positive energy to those without power and all the many who, for one reason or another, find this a difficult time.

Hugs and love to you my dear friend.

Nice! I have tried to make a snowman before but I really did not know how to make it. I love drinking coffee with family around in this kind of special season, it brings warm memories. very nice piece.

"natural tinsel" is the perfect description. A coffee moment with friends is a great way to find warmth amid all that ice! :)

Cold is after 6 hours of power off and its still sleeting... many still have power off today.
WOW seems about right to say ...

I haven't seen ice like that in a long while

Lived in Dayton Ohio, a year and a half..in the 60's

We get snow here, but just a few days each year

I can see YOU out THERE snapping pics.. lol.. be careful !

"Merry Christmas"...................................
