feel free AFTER you think on it...
there is ALWAYS something within the lines when you think on them ya know? Still, it somehow doesn't feel like Pulitzer material though - chuckling here

What do you mean, maybe not Pulitzer? The picture was so clear (maybe because I have an enormous, doofy dog, and I read the whole thing in 'her voice') and made me smile! I own a dog like this, and I think I know some people like this (maybe I'm one of them?). And I suppose I'm getting ahead of myself saying it's a dog - that's what it made me think of immediately, but it doesn't have to be - like I said, I know some people like this, too. These little day-to-day moments are what life is worth living for.

is a "view" of reality - common to the human fraility
here is where i went---and i am an old dog, so i bring the human element in concerning relationships.

this could be a relationship where the man is older, the woman younger. And what might have happened is that she decided in mid-stream to sow her wild oats...perhaps she was just restless like a puppy will be all the time, and go off wagging her tail at other men for awhile, but finally she tires out, and realizes who really takes care of her, and comes back to rest in his lap.

okay, crazy...i know...but you know i always see something different---

Aww, this is cute! Puppy love!
I love animals and this reads like the unconditional love of a puppy or dog.
Or it could be that teenage boy that has a crush on me.

yep...could be...
This made me miss the dogs I had to put up for adoption when I left Arkansas and moved back to Michigan after I lost my husband a year ago. They were always ready to go walking but when I was...no...they wanted all my attention...and of course the dog treats they knew I always had handy. Valentine

Any friend of a puppy/dog/cat is a BIG friend of mine. This reminded me of the time my bassett hound had 12 puppies...12 puppies, nothing but ears coming at you on the floor!

Oh, the joys they give us! You captured the love so well, Chris!

This piece radiated joy, i enjoy your unorthodox approach of writing. A fine piece this is.
Very enjoyable.

Well Done.
Thank you.
