Yeah, about moments, even if we don't like some moments, they're passing so quick. I find this full of freedom, emotional, powerful. We have to appreciate every moment in our life, because we are living, some people don't have that gift, so we should enjoy them. I like the structure. Wonderfully penned. Thanks for sharing. :D

Roberta, it really is good to "see" you again. I am glad you are ok.
This reminds me so much of my grandparents, for some reason. The way that they are with one another, still after all of these years holding on to "moments (that are) closer than life". What a lovely portrait you have painted here...touching.

Sarah, thank you for sharing your "moments" and for pausing with me.
' .. my forehead on the glass ~ as my breath fogs ~ over-and-over-and-over ~ mysts filling my mind as eyes ~ ‘til with fingertips weaving ~ and turning ~ and finding... ~ there …THERE… are the …the gentle tears.. '
You've written about such precious personal moments. Precious memories, locked inside, love keeping them safe. Thought-wrapped in smiles or tears or both, they are .. spirit cupping them gently, each second more fragile than the one before or after, yet powerful because they touch every fibre of you. We all rush too much, racing through life for no reason than to be somewhere before we leave and so, lose the chance to create yet more of everything worth having. Some - too many, accept second best because second best is usually instant. Yet, the heart knows more's just hiding in the shadows waiting to be stored, valued .. loved.

Thoughts often fly but sadly, they're too invisible!
These moments are precious, Chris. They are passed by, rushed away in our busy lives. I love the thought of just standing still. Breathing in time with the beats my thoughts stir. The cadence should be noticed. There are moments that need to be held on to. Nicely done, mister. Angi~

It was special seeing you here Angi... thanks for pausing.
It doesn't happen very often that a poem gripped my, stirs something inside right from the very first line, but your poem did it, Chris. Masterfully written, great imagery and just perfect.

Lourisa, thank you so much for such a thought. Your pause with me was very appreciated.
Moments... life is a chain of moments. This is a traveler. I t transports the reader to his own similar moment and drops him square in the pool he swam in previously. Your descriptives, once again, are mesmerizing. Another beautiful piece from a beautiful man. Thank you! A question to ponder wise sage... Why is it the moments and memories of our tears often bring the fondest smiles years down the path? Even when accompanied by a fresh mist. Thank you again my friend. I enjoyed the coffee.

that is a good thing...keeps the dust down to manageable levels.
I have pondered for a while now.. read.. and.. read again.. and pondered some more.. so many moments in a lifetime... and yes.. some are more dear than others.. if it is true that ones life flashes before their eyes at the moment of death than I hope it is the dearest of moments that will come to light the path to my next journey..
