"You have love within you - to share..."

 

There is love

and there is

...you...

there is - me

and then the we's 

- each an us

sharing I's,

and looks that are just...

love

being shared with any who sees.

I know,

because I DO watch, see

and look ...and breathe.

 

There IS Love

within

and fingers touch and spread

the sparkles light from eye-to-eye

within-the-glass flows-

to-heart-to-sigh

to-day and night dreams

that might last life-times' hopes

beyond a slight soft smile curving lips

to eyes gentle sight -

as with each night's fall

brings ceilings and walls

to moonlit fantasies of cloudscapes

star-dropped, backscattered visions

of rainbowed clarity and heart-full tightenings

where words hold sway over minds needing held

by more than mere dreams' fingertips.

 

There is Love

within

that reaches

and longs with its own needs and passion

to touch and hold and share LIFE

and all the days of tomorrows

...to fill our bittersweet with

 

     nows

 

that draw and drive,

grasp and squeeze TIGHT

that  fullness   brought and fraught with-

after-wishes and fear of loss...

that fullness of the fire within caresses 

to the pure heat of ice's touch.

 

There is Love

within

and reflected through

our eyes...

as we gaze

to the glass

through our lives.

You write with a lot depth hard for me to explain Chris, I don't know this made me smile and I lost concept as to why cause I was taking it all within. It just gave some closure to let me know not all things one does inside are in vain. Your a great writer that gives the reader focus. I am not good at giving reviews. But I will speak how it made me feel.

You have such a beautiful way with words Chris. I love reading them and the way that you have them laid out really gives me a sense of how you want them read, to break and pause and stop and be louder or softer. I always enjoy wandering through your neck of the woods and pausing. We will have to catch up over some coffee soon.....I will keep the Keurig on!

There is love everywhere...life is love, love is life. I don't think that our species could exisit without the "knowing" of love, or the experiencing of it in some form or another. You write of something that sends my own mind reaching for more; looking for the little things that I have overlooked or stepped over without noticing.

The rhythm of this one was exactly how I felt it when I read aloud. You put spaces, pauses and breaks exactly where I naturally wanted to take a breath; shorter lines and longer lines all put together to make for an easy read.

Yes very true though it's not always love that I see. My eyes seem to be open to the darker side of man.

some live to make us feel small... but it isn't all of the others - you know that inside. And the ones that do act that way can't really win if we just catch our breath and realize just how small it's THEY that are.
