I once looked back from four directions, (no not at the same time) to one spot, but it looked so much better when I stood on the mountain, quiet , just god and I. swami interesting .......
Life is about being malleable...about bending instead of breaking. So often, we are so rigid in our thinking and actions (i think they call that pride), that we are unable to truly see the beauty in the observations of others and situations in general.
I love the sensory imagery in this one...the creaking of the pen, the chair, the journal, the floor; it is all a creaking of sorts, this scratching out of words that we do. You illuminate with these words.
All those squeaks reminded me of that little oil can the Tin Man always needed, in Oz! ; )
Chris, whenever there's an implication of coffee, you can be sure I'll arrive with bells on. I just loved the feeling this employed, my friend...squeaks and all!
