"Listening To ...The Wind Sigh..."

"Listening To ...The Wind Sigh..."

A Poem by Chris
"

Sometimes we do ...hear...

"

"Listening To ...The Wind Sigh..."

...the wind sighed...

I felt the world

moving

turning

flowing

shiver-shudder-free-whirl-whirling

wheeling

...and my breath...

my breath

breath

held me...

captive, wanting,

needing - awaiting

knowing ...that...

breath has a quality,

a way of being more than

the pause we take -

more than the sum of all the desire we feel.

more than the need to just exist...

more than a simple, single, relevance.

A friend walked up

or lived a tingle

or felt the flow

or found comprehension,

need, desire, so many, many instants of

what we know OR

he, she, I ...just wanted to

- paused,

asked a favor - take a look-see-read-thought-and

...and talk with me

about ...things.

and I did.

and we did.

He said, I said, she said, we ...said

...each said - and the wind

sighed... as over-and-over

we touched ...something -

our collective understanding,

our insight

our individual heart and perhaps even

the face of god - inside.

Listening to what isn't spoken

seems an arrogant thought

but

we do that

so often that it isn't chance

isn't dream believe

isn't ...any less real than

our next breath

to us

to the person needing to be heard

...to even me

as on any given day

- we need -

to grasp and hold - someone ...still...

as our world races - blurs

...becomes soooo not quite what

it was - is - should ...be...

- can't ...become...

...see?

Fit and proper structure of the poem, the diverse lengthes of lines, and tension from the very beginning..so that a reader wants to know what the wind whispers and sighes about..and feels the world moving, turning, flowings..because we all belong to the Nature. Thank you, I enjoyed reading the poem.

Hi... this was a unique and welcomed insight... thank you Sasha.
The unspoken word can say so much !

The wind has so much to tell us, if we would only listen! Thoughts well penned down and fascinating to read!

Your perception of the wind is staggering, Chris. Perhaps it will utter a remembrance of this poem, the next time I hear it!
