and the more I paused I found

...more to pause about.

 

Some make their own hells

from even the heavens found

- by being themselves.

I very much agree. Being yourself can bring great things, but also devastating situations as well. The world won't like who you are. There are bullies, and the media, and television and magazines all telling you to be something else. To be fake. And when you resist that, you become strong and confident and crate a heaven for yourself inside of your mind. It's wonderful, yet crushing at the same time.

I find that often the reverse is also true.. there are those who will find heaven despite the hell around them.. and that too is because of who they are..
