"It's March ...Again."

"It's March ...Again."

A Poem by Chris
"

as promised...

"

"It's March ...Again."

I paused in the sunlight today

listened to the

...wind

whispering from so near within.

Do you understand the accent of

breath?

Do you feel the softness

of each tone,

each pause,

each touch of the lips - tongue -teeth -throat

...each fingertip it crosses until it

reaches

your ears, heart, mind

...soul?

I think each YOU knows best how you are doing ...

Our world is what we know best and yet

sometimes we become aliens by leaving

what we had for what we haven't.

The longer we live
the less innocence we have...

...and the longer we live
the more innocence we share
.

I don't believe light withers
just the fingertips that reach
ever and ever - for it.

Sunlight is the shared smile
warming our cheek.

I touched her cheek

and held her cold hand

- and it warmed.

She wasn't there

but she was - there

...different time

another place

she was remembering smiles

I couldn't see

in ways and places - I knew

but wouldn't touch

...cause they were hers

- and she wasn't alone.

I felt her leave

and the pause -

when she looked

and understood...

she didn't say goodbye

she didn't ...say... goodbye.

Strange how spring always brings back memories. She never said goodbye because in a way she never left. Maybe she know...

A Great write I could absolutely relate to.

I can't help but smile, how heart sweeping and breaking this is at the same time, the light does not whither, i believe that, and the talent never dies, i'm certain of that now.
this is a beauitful translate to what lies in the soul
a beautiful melancholy, heard in every single line
an undying hope.
beautiful Chris :)
as promised.

I still feel it too.
I think each YOU knows best how you are doing ...
Our world is what we know best and yet
sometimes we become aliens by leaving
what we had for what we haven't.

Oh how true this is... everyone is always looking for something better and wind up losing the best thing they have. A poem full of profound thinking.

"The longer we live
the less innocence we have..." is very much true.
The ending is very touching
"I felt her leave
and the pause -
when she looked
and understood...
she didn't say goodbye
she didn't ...say... goodbye."
