A Poem by
Chris

"A Simple Pause..."
What is the color
of tomorrow
before the sun rises
and my eyes open to
yesterday again...

Isn't it strange that our minds keep continuously listing to the past or the future at times? How simply and curtly your verse is put, and yet, the meaning we can contrive from it is incredible! We desire the past for we desire what we don't possess. Most of our lives, or as much as humanly possible, we need the "simple pause" to stay in the present moment. Thank you for writing this and sharing it here! =)
