"Unsilvered Mirrors..."

"Unsilvered Mirrors..."

Southern Cross' "Orphaned Lovers" drew these

"Unsilvered Mirrors..."

Sitting

leaning

- forehead to the glass...

staring unseeing

quietly being

nowhere at all

- here -

as each word - forms, glistens

slowly begins to fall

- faster,

faster still...

'til from the cheek - released

each floats...

glistening,

sparkling,

finding the starlight

then splattering

spattering

exploding

releasing the heartlight to

merge

merging

with the darkness

becoming

being

the silence

within which I

...live.

Thats what I like about your poems...I like reading them more than once...Thats what is nice about being a poet..we can amuse ourselves when there is nobody around. We dont need anyone else to amuse us...we can make ourselves laugh, cry or smile.

I was initially intrigued by the title 'Unsilvered Mirrors' and having now read this work of yours several times, over & over, I am still not disappointed...

good thought to share.
Your crafting is sublime...words melt, literally, into each other...
Again, speechless but not enough to not tell you this is sensational xox

Nice work. Pulsating. Well done. I feel challenged by this.

yes, i am looking forward to re-visiting more of your writings, take care :)
I enjoy your style of writing. This builds and builds, with pauses and periods. Captured my breath as I read it.

careful...you'll be captured... and then biased.
the way the intensity of this builds up is almost scary, it's uncontrollable, as if your fullstops can hardly wait for the words to finish and the new ones start without any questions or shame. I love this contrast between merciless rhythm, which happens in spite of us, and the softness this rhythm carries, it is panting and yet tender, strong and self-sufficient, grown up to its principles and steady in delivering its message, and yet that message is chiseled out beautifully, almost idealistically in honour of deep words. It was re-read. A few times

Beautiful! A window and tears, your own silent words and the silence of the universe. I love it.
