"You Too Can Have A Keurig!..."

You ever have one of those days?  The bottom of the tea pot just melted off because the damn whistle didn't and the water put the fire out but is a gas stove soooooooooo the room fills and THEN you notice THAT smell and run in and turn off the gas BUT the last position you HAVE to turn through on the knob switch is the "auto-ignite-sparker"?

 

Sigh... life is a rube goldberg game just waiting to happen... ya know?

I know, One day my stove was rescued by my brother in law, otherwise I had exploded in gas explosion, I am eternally grateful to him, lol though, I would be living in better worlds, I still keep smiling till it's my time... thank you dear for this marvelous write....

I have one - no, I now have a Keurig - WAIT, I left the perc in the back of the cupboard in case the power goes out AND since it IS a Gas stove ...muahhaha... wait for it -- coffee by fireslight!

Anyway, tea with OLD coffee oil is - well, tisn't tea anymore. And tea-taminated coffee?!? - SHIVERS...

Well, theres always boiled water, paper towel, a bit of a mess...grin and bear it ;)

A long, long time back a friend used to tell me how he used the grounds til they almost bleached... he would just add what he could to the pot to get some color and "goodness". Some people are still having "those" days ...I had forgotten about that and them... Thanks Mike - I needed to remember. Even in "teasings" there 'bite'.

I have never ever understood those keurig things. They are expensive and they only make one cup of coffee at a time! Are you kidding me? I see no point of making less than six cups at a time, I mean six cups are really only three cups in one of my mugs...
