"I'm Scared..."

I asked what a person was scared of... and they actually spoke.

 

"I'm Scared..."

I paused with each of your thoughts

- I didn't cry, though I felt the tears and frustrations

- I didn't laugh, to try breaking any tension or to misunderstand

- I didn't curse to ...to give acknowledgement and "been there"

I listened to my heart beat and felt the hollowness

I felt the world echo within my mind

and understood how frail it is to be you

to be us

today...

and what it is to face tomorrow.

To ask, and then receive answers to the delicate little places of the heart, is sharing .. And then we know we are not so alone, there are hearts that beat with ours, and there are souls that wish on stars .. and somehow tomorrow doesn't seem such a fearful place to go .. .. Anger, fear and even the silly little emotions we can feel, need to be listened to, and truly heard .. For the moment, I feel better , reading your thoughts ..
