"Amid Summer's Eve..."

"Amid Summer's Eve..."

A Poem by Chris
"

Read it BEFORE you read it aloud... understand its rhythm.

"

"Amid Summer's Eve..."

It rained - here, last night

driplets cascaded and ran -

falling and falling,

merging 'til becoming

twisting and turning

growing, flowing rivulets

that marred and stained

existence -
by releasing

...echoes of the hurt inside.

I miss you.

Chris

Water can be releasing-cleansing; releasing what previously had not been seen clearly~ pat

raw expression. Held in place by the iconic words "amid summer's eve" showing there's more to every moment and it's not all a summer's eve.

The words in your poem speak loudly to me! I love it! Keep up the good work. The flow is amazing. I feel the feelings your describing as your poem goes. Its a very good write!

I felt sadness and rage as the rhythm built.

Read more than twice. A very honest write, Chris.
Weather inside can brew storms much stronger than the ones outside.
