Undeniable Loneliness

Undeniable Loneliness

A Poem by Anaya

You don’t know
True loneliness
Until your own tears
Abandon you too.
Until you’re sitting
Alone, feeling pain
And your own body
Won’t comfort you.
You don’t know
Until you're calling out
God’s name.
Begging him for a sign
Asking him to give you
Some random notification
About why you shouldn’t take
Your life.
You don’t know until you’re blind
Not physically but mentally
Cause true loneliness will
Deny you access
To the realistic parts of your mind.
What's the time?
I don’t know
I can’t catch up with my life
I started to move too slow
I didn't tell you to leave
I didn’t want you to go
But now both you and my sanity are gone
So now i’m all alone.
