Death Calling

Death Calling

A Poem by Anavi

They said they would be back
Instead Death pulled them off life's track
Their words- well, fate begged to differ
Resulting in the walls guarding my heart to be stiffer
Next thing I knew, it was will, guardians and legal rights
But as a clueless child they are too confusing to fight
Having one hundred and three contacts flashing there
Yet still feeling no one cares
Isolated myself, pushed everyone away
Torture for me was the life I lived each day
They were my happiness, the reason I smiled
If only Angels had a number I may have dialled
I finally left my life of hell
After a deep breath, I took a step, and fell.

Wow! this is one of the most relate-able poems I've seem today. In all honesty and in addition to add some irony, I went through this very situation. It was written well and I think it has a lot of emotion behind this.
