A Poem by Anathema Herem

i am anathema, cursed be my name--
left to the darkness for your peace of mind.

and i am anathema.
you were the light,
but i am anathema.

i am anathema, raised to the flame--
ascended through fire at your vanity's shrine.

and i am anathema.
you were the light,
but i am anathema
