Storm

Storm

A Poem by Anatar
"

Do what you want.

"

Feel it all around you

Touch it, and recall

A better time, a better place,

All memories past, a time of grace

There were no clouds to bring the rain

Nor silence to end the ceaseless pain

Just simple pleasures to keep the moot

And tear your fear asunder

Stop! and see, your abode to be

A never-ending sonata

A place of whole and humble bliss:

A shelter against the water’s hiss

Time moves slow, but all too fast

All much fun: not meant to last

With much to do, I bid thee well

Where we shall go, only time will tell

This is a very different poem from your others. Kudos for trying something new. My only complaint: the second verse seems off on the rhyming scheme.
