BloodsistersA Poem by AnataWhen friends slowly grow apartPast memories I think of you Times washed away You were there And so was I What happened My dear What happened to us Slowly drifting apart I search but I don’t find My love for you Your excuses But I know they are true Or so I think I think I lost you Your arms Once held me tight My tears stained Your shirts But you didn’t mind The path I’m walking now Is too hard for you You peddle down another stream Away from mine Slowly drifting apart You were my bloodsis And you will always be No matter which stream you choose My mind will float with you Down a lane unknown
