The flow of life

In a world of sunshine

You were born

Your first glimpse

Almost burned your eyes

Everything so pretty and new

You learned to walk

To discover all your dreams

 

In a world of darkness

You grew up

Adolescence has driven you

Into clouded feelings

Burned and used emotions

You learned to cry

To wash your troubles away

 

In a world of emptiness

You entered

Maturity took you

To feelings destructive to your own

Denial and acceptance

You learned to put into perspective

To control yourself

 

In a world of love

You are hold

Caring gave you

What you couldn’t give yourself

You learned to accept

To live life with all it’s attachments

 

In a world of peace

You will die

Calmness will allow you

To remind what is important

You will learn to forgive

To be able to let go
