The inner maze

The inner maze

A Poem by Anata

Lurking from behind a darkened corner

She sees herself

A glimpse of the inner core

She’s deafened by vision

Blinded by words

Reaching out

To touch what can’t be felt

She falls into reality

Guided by desperation

Exploring the maze of her being

Confronted by what she locked away

Hysterically searching

The way out keeps fading

Further and further into darkness

Drowned by her enemies

Betrayed by her beloved ones

She submits

And revives

What once was chaos

Exfoliated to order

What used to be separated

Became one

Thank you for your review.
I particularly like the flow in this piece, it has nice rhythm, and the imagery is clear without bogging down the poem unnecessarily. Good piece ^.^

I like this poem. The words paint a picture of the feelings you are portraying. I admit I was sucked in. I also like the natural flow of the phrases and the structure.

Overall I like this poem. For me, the pace dramatically changes in the last stanza--exfoliated...
The use of those two-word lines is great but after that, I get bogged down.
