Here I stand

Here I stand

A Poem by Anata

So here I stand
Trialed for treason
Bestowed with no guilt
Here I stand, alone though not free
Thinking I have no conscience
Thinking all is caused by me
Here alone, bound in existence
I search and find too much
Wanting to hold yet only having to let go
Here again and forever stays
There is no more in me
There is only pain and tears
Here I stand wanting to let go
But my roots are stuck
And no soul seems to set me free

A powerful poem. I could feel the fear and disappointment in the poem. I could feel the loneliness and desire for someone to care. I like the complete poem. No weakness. A excellent poem.

Heart breaking.......that we cannot move on, feel alone and broken, already judged, only you can set your soul free, rip out the stagnant roots, and plant fresh roots......so much emotion in this beautiful piece.
